Becoming a Member

The Silicon Valley Mathematics Initiative is comprised of over 100 members. Members include school districts, individual schools and educational organizations. SVMI serves schools and districts across California and throughout the United States.

Members are entitled to a large library of resources including MAC/MARS performance tasks & Problems of the Month (POM), curriculum & instructional tools, summative & formative assessments, and professional development opportunities. Please review the SVMI Membership Benefits.

  • Download the 2024-2025 SVMI Membership Application to begin the process of becoming a SVMI Member.

    The Silicon Valley Mathematics Initiative (SVMI) is a comprehensive effort to improve mathematics instruction and student learning. The Initiative is based on high performance expectations of all students, ongoing professional learning, and the examination of student work to inform and improve instruction.

    Our goal is to support rigorous, engaging, and equitable mathematics learning spaces that are highly interactive, robust, and focused on instruction that centers student agency and identity.
