What is a Math Leadership Summit?

SVMI's Math Leadership Summits are designed for learning and collaboration for grade-level leads, math department chairs, coaches/TOSAs, site administrators, and district administrators. The biannual summit aims to build awareness and deepen understanding at the intersection of instructional leadership, mathematics, equity, and engagement. Nationally recognized speakers feature relevant and meaningful topics. Since 1996, SVMI has been honored to learn from some of the most brilliant minds in mathematics and mathematics education: Ruth Parker, Jo Boaler, Cathy Humphreys, Akihiko Takahashi, Megan Franke, Steve Leinwand, Eduardo Briceño, Constance Kamii, Deborah Ball, Catherine Lewis, Kathy Richardson, and many, many more. See below for some of our most recent keynote speakers!
