SVMI Math Leader Meetups
SVMI Math Leader Meetups are designed for grade-level leads, math department chairs, coaches/TOSAs, site administrators, and district administrators. The purpose of the meetups is to improve and refine our practice and strengthen our understanding around current research- and evidenced-based practices about math content, teaching strategies, and learning theory. These opportunities are designed to include new learnings coupled with collaborative networking opportunities with other member districts to hear about our collective mathematical journey.
This year's focus will be a book study on Elena Aguilar’s latest publication, Arise. Registration is required. Please consider obtaining access to the book ahead of the first Meetup.
Meetups are offered virtually five times a year from 9 to 11 AM Pacific Time with optional office hours from 11 AM to 12 PM. Meetups are included as one of the many perks of SVMI membership and open to non-members for a nominal fee.
