SVMI believes learning “that sticks” is cyclical and transferable. Our customized professional learning provides just-in-time learning in 3-8 part series, with full or partial days, working with individuals, grade level teams, math departments, and/or with your entire staff.
Lab School Professional Learning Series
SVMI believes learning needs to be experienced in classrooms, and not just in meeting spaces. Our innovative site-based Lab School Professional Learning series fuses research, evidence, and practice to combine the best of both worlds for educators to experience what mathematically powerful classrooms look like and sound like.
Coaching Cycles
SVMI believes whether you are leading a classroom, a team, or an organization, instructional leadership can take place at every level and is an investment to fine tune our practices. Our coaching cycles can support teachers, coaches, and/or administrators.
- Teachers These cycles are designed for 1:1 coaching models to support classroom teachers with co-planning, classroom observation, and next step lessons centered on student work.
- Coaches These cycles are designed for 1:1 co-coaching models to support site- and district-based math coaches with co-planning, classroom observation, and feedback loops.
- Administrators These cycles are designed for 1:1 or small group coaching models to support site- and district-based administrators with data analysis, classroom observation, and feedback loops (i.e. instructional rounds, praise walks, etc.)
